Dashboard "Lights" HELP! 1987 Nova Sign In

Hello!

I've been driving my car for a little over 2 years (its at 301k now, not the 291k shown in the pic) and i JUST got a new battery 10 weeks ago.

Now here is the problem. When i start the car, the 3 lights on the side (look at the pic) are on. They are oil, charge and brake. Start the car up, they slowly turn off... or supposed to.

I find the oil light turns off normally but the engine light and brake light stay bright red. Even with my e-brake off, the engine AND brake light stay on. Also, i noticed when i DO have the e-brake up, the "brake" light is more red than the engine light, but when i take it off they revert to same, dim red color.

When i go to university, i get up to 130 km/h. Sometimes the 2 lights on, "engine and brake", will turn off at high speeds or when my engine is revving really high. But as soon as i drop below 100 km/h the lights come back on. They also flicker, like they are struggeling to stay on. Not even when driving, when the car is in park.

I have no knowledge of cars or how the electrical systems work so this is really weird problem to me.

Could it be a loose connection or something? any help would be appreciated.
