Hello all,

I've just driven home from work and noticed that my headlights are really dim. I got out of the car and checked everything else. The high beams work fine, everything else appears to be normal brightness.

I've recently changed the coil pack (don't know if that could be an issue). While i was working on it, i did push against the front bumper a fair bit. Perhaps this has knocked something out of place?

Looking to see if anyone knows a possible reason as to why only the headlights would be dim...and both at the same time. I have a few night shifts and i don't believe driving with highbeams will go well with the law.

I drive a Ford AU Falcon series 1

Re: Dim headlights Sign In

That's not a US car so we don't have any info on it but is sounds like a weak ground issue.

It's like a Taurus in the US I think. Weak ground likely as HT said. That if all else checks out or even the sockets where lights plug in,
