Hi, I bought a pair of side marker light for my car. They are compatible with Nissan MO/Infinity (see the pictures below). My car is a Nissan Murano 2009 (US model) which doesn't come by default with these flashers so I have to install them by myself. The original headlamp harness doesn't come with connectors for these side marker lamps so I have to wire myself this thing (a wire extension from the front headlight - the turn lamp - to this side marker lamp). But the question is: what connector should I buy/use in order to connect this lamp properly? Of course I can crimp two female spade connectors and then to hook them to the lamp but I would opt for a waterproof connector that fits, if possible. Maybe someone, a handy auto electrician - anyone, has a clue about what could possible fit into that socket. Thanks

The obvious answer would be to buy a pigtail for the vehicle the lights were designed for. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

The obvious answer would be to buy a pigtail for the vehicle the lights were designed for. Yes, you are right. That's what I'm looking for. You've said "a pigtail for the vehicle the lights were designed for" but the problem is that they (Nissan) sell the whole headlamp harness (like 400$ including import tax and shipping) not only the pigtail. So you see, no one in this world will pay 400$ just for a pigtail, isn't it? Back to my original question, what type of waterproof "pigtail" do I need in order to match that socket? Does anyone recognize that type of plug and can recommend a connector type that matches with it? Iy must be used in hundreds of makes/models, I'm sure about that, no factory will ever produce such socket just for one pitiable side marker lamp model. Of course, not all the cars will have it but at least few models, right?
