Last night I was pulling out of a spot and accidently pulled into someone who was driving by, knocking his mirror off and messing up the door. I got a replacement door and mirror this morning and installed it but the wires from door to car don't match up. His car is a 98 oldsmobile 88 and the door that the junkyard gave says its a 94. Assuming the door came from a car with features the car doesn't have I just need the important systems to work-power windows, power locks and speaker (unless there is something else important Im missing)
The wires coming out of the car are:
1)Thick Blue
2)Thick light Blue
3)Thick tan
4)blue
5)Tan
6)orange
7)orange with Black stripe
8)light green
9)green
10)red with black stripe
11)white
12) Black
13)Black with white stripe
14-15) 2 greys
Wires from door are:
1)Thick blue
2)Thick light Blue
3)Thick tan
4)green
5)light green
6)light Blue
7)tan
8)Black with white stripe
9-10)2 Black wires
11-12)2 orange
13-15)3 white
16-19)4 grey

Any advice in any shape or form even a few words that will help me figure this out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I looked all over the net for a wiring diagram but couldn't find one, I tracked down the door I took off and opened it up. Hope this helps for anyone with a similiar problem. The 3 thick wires -Blue, Tan and Light Blue both on door and car were for the window relay. The green and light green wires on both door and car are speaker wires. The door lights are controlled through a wire harness that has a white and orange those attached to white and orange coming out of car. The new door's lock and unlock button had 5 wires coming from it so I put the old one (4 wires-orange with black, black with with,grey and another slipped my mind) in new door. There are 4 wires going to lock mechanism I matched them up color to color except 1 wire was white coming from lock and blue coming from car. The remaing wires were from an unidentified harness that was cut inside door.

Can you just swap the wires from the old door is it too bent up. If all else fails take that door back for one that is the same as the damaged one,
