Hyundai Coupe wont start

2003 Hyundai Coupe 1.6 petrol 49000 miles. Left lights on , battery went totally dead after a few days. Got out jump leads and did something very stupid, connected leads to wrong poles and tried to start. Then realised my error and connected the correct way, engine turned over but would not start. Bought new battery and installed but no joy, now engine would not even turn over. Then discovered that main battery fuse (120 amp) had blown, replaced fuse but still no success. I have checked the relays and fuses and all seem O.K. Lights, wipers, electric windows all working. Horn, heater blower and radio not working ( could this be a clue to problem). When I turn ignition nothing happens, I can hear a buzzing from area of fuel injectors. I think Hyundai coupe is same as tuberon in U.S. Two of the relays , main and start, I put into a friends car and they worked fine. The other relays I checked by switching around and checking that lights continued to work. One more thing, my fob will unlock the doors but will not lock them.Car had been running fine before this stupid jump lead connection Any advice would be much appreciated.Byrne493

You've probably fried some modules so you probably will have to tow it to a competent shop. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
