2007 Jeep Liberty won't start. No crank. All panel lights, radio, interior lights work. 132,000 miles. Tested battery. StarterBoth good. Replaced blown 30 amp fuse. Alarm remote key broke off in ignition in December. Have alarm transmitter and separate chip key.

Quote">>Alarm remote key broke off in ignition in December. Have alarm transmitter and separate chip key.<<" Is this a factory or called OE alarm system or aftermarket? What did it take to get the broken key OUT of lock cylinder if you know? In testing battery and starter suggests you've disconnected battery to do so which would activate/disable vehicle by all odds and YOU need to know how your alarm works to set and unlock that feature as if you set it. I also question the battery of a combo chip key with remote features in it - quite likely 10 years old if a spare. You could have just tested trigger wire to starter and saved some grief here but think the alarm is activated and needs to be enabled to run now. It blew a 30A fuse - which one? T
