Mk4 golf rear light problem Sign In

Hi all hope your good, Car Problems, mk4 golf rear lights, drivers side brake light works but tail light doesnt and passenger side tail light works but brake light doesnt, anyone help

Replace the bulbs.

I have replace all the bulbs and checked fuses

I guess you just forgot to tell us that.

Use a test light and test for power and ground at the socket.

I dont seem to be getting a ground, also no voltage there when testing with a multimeter to gnd

It should be on the same circuit as the other side of the car so follow the wiring to find out at what point you're losing it. It may be the socket itself.
