Hello, all.

My friend told me today that his brake lights don't work, then they do work, then they don't work, but now they work........HUh???

Does anyone have a diagram of the brake light switch on these Merc's.....................

Hey, Hammer-time? Any chance you still got that schematic and picture of the bake light switch that you sent to maginana????

Disconnect battery ground cable and disconnect wires at switch connector.

  1. Remove hairpin retainer and slide stop light switch, pushrod, nylon washers and bushings away from brake pedal, and remove switch.
  2. Reverse procedure to install.

I don't know. i can't test it from here. You need to test for power in all the time and out when the brake is applied.
