Quick question Sign In

I have an 02 f150, I have a light bar on it and it's relay is hooked up to the starter solenoid for constant power and so I don't have to connect to the battery preventing any corrosion, but my question is I'm trying to hook an amp up and I connected it to the starter solenoid as well but the amp isn't power up and I'm starting to think you can put more than one connection on there. Does anyone know if this is true? Meaning I should just connect the amp to the battery?

Make sure your are the correct side of the solenoid (the side with constant power). You should have no power delivery problems at that point. Check your ground make sure it's clean and proper gauge wire. Also check the blue switching wire for the amp if i remember correctly that also has to have power to it for the amp to power up. Usually its connected to sub control wire on aftermarket stereo's that support it.

Make sure inline & amp fuse is good too.

It's on the right side because my light bar receives the constant power so I'll check the blue wire and make sure it's connected right, last time I checked all three fuses were good as well
