Re: 04 Mountaineer Not starting Sign In

found the problem, it was the ground wire at the right front corner where the horn an light were grounded. Got another problem, got an 04 Mountaineer, got fuel pressure, got spark, but wont start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 04 Mountaineer Not starting Sign In

Thanks for the follow up on the find and fix with another vehicle. I'll go back and lock that for archives and redid the subject line for this vehicle now. Please don't use same threads for different issues or vehicles.

So, take it the falls under "All Crank, No Start" so here a link to this place also for a procedure to follow...........

You will need to be specific for fuel pressure not just that you can find any. If a fuel issue only and spark is fine it should react to priming it into throttle body, run for a couple seconds and quit. That should rule out a spark issue.

If you can where this is get codes read and post #s. I'll wait for more info from you to get into this too much but it can have or show fuel pressure, even right pressure and not allow it in thru injectors for example.
Please also state which engine this is, miles and any recent info that might be of importance also,

T
