Re: Charging system problem Sign In

Hi I have a question regarding system charging issues. I replaced the alternator, battery, belt, pulley. Battery is still not charging. The alternator is tested good. The battery is tested good. Checked all the grounds, fuses, fusable links don't see any broken wires. I'm totally stumped. It's a 2004 Ford Exploder 4.0L V6 It's driving me nuts. Today I happened to look down at the starter and noticed the wires seem a little corroded. The truck starts fine but again the battery doesn't charge and it will slowly drain overnight. Question is would the starter have anything to do with that? Find the best battery tender by visiting (hyperlink for product not allowed) for more info. Thank.
Using obd2 scanner to diagnose to determine exactly which one is to blame. Also, you can check the battery connections that are tight and clean or not because it could be cause of issue.
(hyperlink removed not allowed in this case)
