My 1994 Sunbird won't start.I was driving my car and I was trying to switch gears and the car stalled.I tried to start it again and I couldn't get it started again. It sounded like it was trying to turn over but the more I tried the less it tried to crank over. Now all I get is a clicking sound when try to start it and it seems to be draining the battery. Is it the solenoid or the starter motor?

If this is an interferance engine with a real old timing belt that broke possibly it may have self destructed. That would give you the sympoms you posted and engine wouldn't turn over or well if it could. The damage should already be there if this is so. A good jump start if not that would be a clue that battery has failed or just connections depending on the way it clicks. Hope it's just a battery problem as the other is "Game Over" for that engine!
