1994 Buick Skylark Unknown (4 door/6 cylinder) nearly 200,000!!! My dad bought this car for my use when my other car, a '93 dodge shadow, blew it's tranny, and he decided that buying new car made more sense than fixing that one. Since I got it, it has not has a basic tuneup, which it is just about due for one actually, and we have had several problems. This particular problem is that the tail lights and dashboard light has gone out, but the headlights, internal lights, and break lights all still work. We had done some work with the fuses before but it had also worked fine with no problems after that, until now. It might be just a blown fuse, but which fuse do I test to find out? Or should I say, which fuse controls both the dashboard lights and the tail lights?

Yes, there is one common fuse that powers both of those circuits. It's labeled "Tail LPS"....(20 amp)...............who would have guessed ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
