Trailer Wiring Trouble Sign In

Hey guys, I am new to this site and I have am having a problem that some of you may be able to help me with. I own a 2002 GMC Sierra. I love my truck, but I have recently discovered a problem with my towing package. The only lights that work on the trailers that I tow are the left brake and turn signal. I know that the problem is in my truck because I have hooked the trailers up to other trucks and all of the lights work fine. If anybody has any suggestions please give them. Thanks.

The colors are pretty standard. If you have electric brakes or more it gets more complicated. If your vehicle uses different bulbs for turn signals you need an adaptor for trailers. I know it pi$$es you off but I wired my 97 Chev PU in about 10 minutes!

If all the lights are working normally on the truck it has to be in the harness from the truck to the trailer.
The easiest ways to fix this is get a replacement trailer connecting harness from the dealer.
If you follow the old harness forward you should see where it’s teed in; it’s a five-minute fix.
