my battery keeps going dead. i have a 95 gmc sonoma. the battery light flashes intermitently, mostly during rpms 2500 and up. i replaced the alternator thinking it would cure the problem but still no resolution. any help would be much appreciated. thanks.

hi :
i dont think that the alternator is the cause for your problem but try this,
turn off you car and but a lamp between the battery + and it's conected wire
if the lamp goes on there iselectricityproblem that makes you baterry dead.
good luck

Good one skyluck. To add.....the alt can be the drain. Leave the test light there and disconnect the main power to the alt and if the light goes out that indicates the alt at fault. Make sure hood light or any items that stay on are off for testing. Pulling fuses can locate the circuit with the drain but you must disable the interior lights or they will set off you test light,
