Hi I have a pegeout 207 hdi, 2007 model. My ket gob broke in my hand, car wouldnt start. Said plip battery spent, ive changed battery, still not working And saying economy mode active. Had a guy to check it and he said not battery, key fob needed to be re coded, however he run another testvand its now saying the fuse box is showing as a fault which if it needs replacing its 200 quid then he said the key may show a fault. Can anyone help and just clarify if this has happened to you please?

?Trying to sift through that. This vehicle not sold in the US but need to know if it's cranking engine or just nothing when you try by key? I tend to think you've set it to an alarm mode (antitheft) and most with an original key if you unlock the driver's door "disarm" the alarm/theft device. Do you have the second set of keys with fob for this car? Try that first, T
