Hi I have a 1990 toyota celica. Everyone tells me I have some kind of electrical problem because we have tried everything else. All my interior lights work but my car wont start. I put in a new starter and some new fuses. So I believe it is an electrical problem somewhere. If you know anything about electrical work please let me know Im going crazy trying to fix this car and get it up and running. Thank you so much, Keith!

Where the fuse's blown for the starter?.. How big was the fuse that was blown? Do you have 12v + at starter (big cable) at the starter end., when key turned in start position do you have 12v at solenoid wire? is there a ground cable you forgot to re attach or damaged?.

Well like I said get a multi-meter set it to DCV 20V put the black probe on negative battery terminal. The red the starter wire @ the starter you should read voltage(what ever battery voltage is) there. If there is do this next step. There should be a smaller wire hooked to the starter pull it off and hook you red probe to it get someone to turn key in start position there should be voltage there. If there is do next step. check your terminals make sure they are tight and clean. check your ground cable from battery to ground locations for corrosion or disconnected. make sure all your connections are tight and clean. If all that passes let me know.
