Sign In   I am leaving 3 vehicles (06 Hyundai, 98 Honda, 93 F-150) in the garage for 6 weeks. I have read that to prevent discharging too low, batteries should be charged every 2 weeks. I intend to leave a charger connected to the 3 batteries in parallel, and have the neighbor energize the charger for 1 day every 2 weeks. Am I inviting disaster doing this? Sign In Yes, you are. That charger is made to charge one battery at a time. Just disconnect the batteries and you'll be fine. Sign In Three "battery maintainers" ~$21.00 each would solve this and are automatic to come on and shut off without having to be there.
