06 nissan sentra will only run when you turn the cam sensor 180 degrees from mounting position.

That's not what I asked you. Do you have consistent spark at the plugs? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

This is really sounding like a crank sensor problem. I know you said you changed it but that doesn't guarantee anything. It really needs some more in depth testing with a scan tool and possibly a lab scope. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

im a mechanic myself, and received the car from a fellow mechanic, who had put a new cam and crank sensor on the car. according to my local napa dealer, the cam and crank sensor are the same, as far as part numbers. so after not finding any codes on my scan tool and no obvious wire problems, i was hopeing one of those sensors was a defect and changed them both. still not starting, i changed the pcm. and now im back at sqare one.

Time to do some actual testing to find out is that Crank signal is making it back to the PCM.
