dash lights not working

dash lights stopped working on my 1982 ford f150. also need to no how many fuses should be in fuse block. think some are missing.

It’s almost impossible for us to tell you how many fuses should be in the panel for your application. They used the same fuse panel for as many combinations of accessories that where available back then. One pick-up the fuse panel could be half-empty and on another jammed packed full. The dash light fuse is usually no more then a 10 amp (as small as a 5 amp) fuse; which is feed power only with the parking and or headlights on. The parking light fuse has power all the times it is usually about a 20 amp. There’s more to this circuit but I hope this answers your fuse question. Dan. Canadian "EH"
