i have an 86 chevy silverado. i lost all four headlights at once, and the voltage neter on my truck sits at 11 constantly no matter if i step on it or not. i replaced all the fuses checked the ground, my batt is only a year old and my altenator isnt very old and its a 90amp. i also tried another switch. im totally lost any help would be appreciated. i have signal lights, reverse, dash, everything but headlights. thanks everyone

They may have a short. Take out one of your globes and turn them on. get a test light and stick it in the place where the pins for the globe would be. I think you have H7 globes in there, so there will only be 2 slots for the plug. Try both. If nothing, you are getting no power to your headlights, the power is going somewhere else. Identify your headlight wire off your harness to the engine bay by following wire back. Keep testing wire until you get power. Let me know from there.
