I have a 99 Chrys t & C with 130, 000 mi and I was driving & my battary light came on & my ABS light came on for a few minutes. I ran into a store with the car running and when I came out and the car was shaking, all interior lights/spedometer went out then car turned off. I jumped it, drove home while the rpm was staying at 3.5/4, now it wont turn on. Also, periodically, my interior lights would flash on/off like a door was open, we would shut all doors..sometimes it would work.

Sounds like your charging system just failed and the battery went dead as you were driving. You need to first manually charge the battery and then test the charging system. You could have a bad alternator, PCM of fusible link.

The battery light on more than likely meant your altenator had failed . The vehicle was now running on the power stored in the battery. By leaving it running while you shopped you drained the battery. Computerized cars do not run well on low power .Usally around 9 volts is where it goes bonkers . Have the battery charged and tested then have the alt tested .
