i have a 1996 Pontiac grand am, the fuse to the interior lamps(10) keeps blowing, when this happens, the cd player wont work, the also the abs light and parking brake light sticks on the dashboard, i have checked all other fuses, they are fine i checked tonight behind my cd player and all those wires are fine and intact, what else could cause this problem?

You're blowing this fuse because one of the components or the related wiring to it is shorting to ground. The fuse is blowing to stop the power surge so that your car doesn't start on fire, so PLEASE don't do what some people may suggest of putting in a bigger fuse or even worse jamming a penny in place of it. If that is done this car will be a crispy critter. You have multiple circuits on the same fuse, so one at a time I want you to try playing with them and see when it will blow the fuse. Then we can have an idea where to narrow the search.

"crispy critter" -- Nick - you do have a way with words!
