I have a 2004 Chevy 2500HD w/Diesel&Allison trans. My problem is my gauges, specifically the oil pressure and fuel gages.Sometimes the oil pressure reads way past 120psi,it'll stay that way for days and then read normal for a time.To extend my time between fuel stops I installed an aux.fuel tank. It's plumbed into the oem tank fill neck.As fuel from the oem tank is used, fuel from the aux. is gravity fed into the oem tank.As long as the aux. has fuel the oem tank reads full, when the aux. runs out and the oem tank starts to read less than full you know when to stop for fuel.Problem is the gauge reads empty, both tanks are full.On a resent trip I checked the fuel gauge and it read full, couple minutes later it read empty.I've checked all fuses, all good, the drivers info center under fuel range just says---.Anybody got an idea where I should check next?thanks
