98 dodge Durango 160,000 5.9
just went thru all this b s with my tail lights had to take it in to get them fixed $ 300.00,
went up north yesterday and it got dark so I turned on my lights and noticed I could hardly see, lights were on but very dim, my one working fog light put out more light then both my head lights, I just put in a new bulb on drivers side neither high or low beam worked today, low beam on passenger side didn't work either, but the bright did, I was told buy a auto parts store guy that it wouldn't be the head light relay which is in the fuse box, he said it could be some kind of ground problem, they were working fine before this shop fixed my tail lights, they had to put in new wire harness due to a terminal being burnt and broke, im taking it back to that shop tomorrow morning, but I cant afford another $300.00 I just had a radiator put in yesterday for $ 317.00 I don't know what to do any ideas ? thanks Dennis from milwaukee

Sounds like a ground problem to me too. Maybe they forgot to attach one of the grounds for the new harness.

ok, I guess I have to eat this one, it turns out when I put in a new head light I put it in wrong and it burnt up the whole head light assembly, cost me about $300.00 to get it fixed, but it's fixed
