No, you need to undo that bypass ASAP. You can't do that.

Do you even understand when to expect the pump to be powered and when it shouldn't?

OK, what sequence of steps are you taking to test for power at the pump?

PS: don't create duplicate questions

Re: no fuel at injectors !!! Sign In

Then you are aware that it only powers for 2 seconds that way?

You are going to have to do your testing at the relay using a computer safe testlight to determine which signal if any is missing.

What is the 8th digit of the VIN#?

Will it run if you pour a little fuel down the throttle body?

Re: no fuel at injectors !!! Sign In

OK, so this is a 2.5.

Now, first check the ECM B fuse. What is odd here is that this truck has a duplicate fuel pump power supply through the oil pressure switch so it should run even without a relay.

Test at the relay socket. You should have power all the time on the orange wire. You should have ground all the time on the blk/wht wire. You should have power on the dk grn/wht wire for 2 seconds when key turned on and again when cranking. The tan/wht wire is the output.

Test that and see what is missing from the relay.

Hello Hammer, sorry for not replying ,had a glich with the lapm top,an had to go. It pleases my heart that there are people such as you that reALLY KNOWS WHATS GOING ON!! there are two oil presure switches , back up for a moment there's a sticker saying 2.8 on the orng, theres 11 plus volts, the grn. 8.pls for a second or two then goes up to10 when cranking , the tan&wht only a .10 tenth of a volt

Re: no fuel at injectors !!! Sign In

I don't understand what you are saying here. First, did you test the ECM B fuse? That powers the orange wire so if you have no power on orange, then that fuse is blown or there is a wiring problem between the fuse and the relay on that orange wire. You should be testing all but the output with the relay removed.

Re: no fuel at injectors !!! Sign In

yes there is 11 volts on the orng wire, there is power briefly on the grn&wht of 8 to 10 volts , the tan an wht wire only has .10 a tenth of a volt the fuse is good!!! i check these with the relay in,i'll have to go back an check these with the relay removed. please forgive me , i've been in an out of the shop ,this is the cause of the delay of my answering. tomorrow i'll repeat this test. thank you for haveing da time to answering me!!

Re: no fuel at injectors !!! Sign In

OK, it's getting power supply and trigger power from the computer. Verify that you have ground on Blk/wht wire. If you do have ground, and still no output on the tan/wht , then you just have a bad relay.

That brief power on the grn/wht should be full battery voltage coming from the computer.

Re: no fuel at injectors !!! Sign In

Of course changing the relay won't help if you have no power to it. The orange wire HAS to have power. Just for kicks, try jumping power directly to the orange wire and see if it starts.

I'm suspecting that you have a connector somewhere that is not making a good contact.

Re: no fuel at injectors !!! Sign In

I don't have exact locations but that wire leaves the fuse box and passes through a connector and then goes to a 4 wire splice. You're problem is going to be in one of those 2 places.
