HELLO. FIRST TIME USER OF FORUM. 2007,hyundai veracruz limited, 3.8 lamda engine, AWD Not sure what happened. i was putting on new parts, non electrical, onto my daughters 15 year old car. next thing that happened as i was finishing for the day was my fob was not working. 1. did not lock car, cannot open rear hatch, not even manually. 2.interior lights and dome do not turn on. 3.digital clock does not light up. 4. Had my two fobs tested at Ace Hardware. was told they both do not send signal. i put new batteries in before test. had my OBD tested at Ace Hardware, said it was none responsive. Now i went with my Multi meter and tested a whole lot of fuses at the Three boxes that have fuses in the Hyundai Veracruz. 5. did not find any blown fuses anywhere, not even the two 125 and 200 fuses attached to battery. 6. i have done three unhook battery cables for different lengths of time to re-boot computer. nothing ever happens. 7. trying to stay out of a repair shop and dealer per high costs and 15 year old car. now is the time to help me on how i am i going to get some sleep and make my daughter and me happy again. Thank you. I will wait for answer

You say you tested fuses. Just how did you do that? Did you test for power at BOTH ends of the fuse? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
