2004 grand prix gtp spring clip in hud broken.....took dash apart and removed hud, drilled new hole for spring to clip into..hud working fine now......when reassembling dash...damaged plastic ring on front of ingition switch where key goes into tumbler.....now getting message ....starting disabled due to theft system......is there some way to get the car started... any help would be great. thanks yuhasz

It sounds like you have damaged the exciter ring around the ignition lock. This is an integral component of the Passlock system and the car will not run without it operational.
