tail and dashlights

I have a 1991 nissan pickup and the dash and taillights go out,When I take out the fuse and put it back in they come back on for a while then go out again

?? Is this to say that removing an UNBLOWN fuse and replacing works for a while? Ideas if so: Try another fuse tested by ohm meter and see if you can catch original fuse with one side without power when this happens or - NO power at that spot either side! If no power to either side - bump on the fuse panel gently and see if power is restored - it might have a problem right there or behind it?? T
