Just recently my son's 88 prelude tail lights were out so i changed the fuse and as soon as i turned the lights, it blows the new fuse. So he has no tail lights for night. Breaks work fine. Any ideas?

First - always use the correct fuse while finding this problem. If I understand your post correctly- this happens when you put the lights on. See if it happens when just parking lights (without headlights) can blow the fuse. That will tell you if they are involved or not. It's probably a corroded or bad bulb socket that has shorted out. That means you will have to look for the bad one. Start at the front as I think the chances are it will be in the front. You will probably see the problem. Grease bulb socket or at least WD40 them. Hope it's just a simple problem like that, and a junkyard could be your best friend for a bucket of fuses and the socket if that's what you find. If not that, there must be a wire shorting which could be hard to find. The funtion of the brakes should not be affected by this, good luck with the fix,
