truck won't start

I have a 1991 Ford F-150 that would not start! Ther was no resistance when turning key. Replaced key clyinder did not help. Still have to arc seloniod. Now I can not get it out of park. First Ford that I have ever owned. Any help would be apprecisted.

More than likely you have either a bad ignition switch (big electrical box on top of steering column below the dash), or the actuation rod has broken or came out of the switch or at the back of the key cylinder. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
