We have a dodge grand caravan 2005. We recently had a new battery put in. After we left the shop the engine light came on. A friend said the code was the P0406 code and reset it. the code came right back on when we drove it the next day. Does this have to do with a new battery being installed? We were on vacation when we had the battery installed so we did not go back to the shop. it was out of the area.

That's a problem with the EGR valve circuit. Probably not related to changing the battery. It's safe to drive. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
