I have a 2006 VW jetta 2.5 PZEV with ~92k miles. The EPC light keeps coming on intermittendly, when it is on I do not have cruise control. My daughter also noted that it messed up the radio for her, not sure of that however. I've seen the previous older posts on this but am looking to see if there is any new information out there. Can't afford to just replace things or for it to just die. Help, please. Laurie

EPC (Electronic Power Control) aka Electronic Throttle Control Basically there is an intermittent fault in the drive by wire system. Usually when that light comes on, the PCM stores trouble code(s) and may disable certain functions of the system. You'll have to get it scanned to see what the code(s) are. Not sure why that would affect the radio. Cruise control is integrated into the EPC system. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
