Re: emissions Sign In

I guess first off,how does it run?
Check engine light on at all?

I would start with a complete tune up including spark plug wires....change all filters.
Change the engine oil and oil filter.
Have the system scanned for any trouble codes.
How many miles on the vehicle and why was it sitting for 2 years?
Maybe look into replacing the catalytic converter and oxygen sensors.
Does the engine burn oil?..any smoke from the exhaust?
Definitely replace the battery with new.......system needs to have proper voltage to operate correctly.

What were the failed specs.?

Just throwing stuff out there..see what the others say

Re: emissions Sign In

car runs great gets 28 mpg. no smoke, battery new.no engine light on.only code is a code 34??? car was in storage for future use but the guy decided to sell it. car came from nj and passed all emissions there since new(I saw paper work) it has 138,000 miles. The exhaust is new from the motor back.I spoke with the local dodge dealer and they said it needs a re-flash on the computer.
