05 optima Sign In

My 2005 kia optima will run fine but some times the engine will cut back after starting or bog down when I push the gas. changed tps changed crankshaft sensor . sometimes it runs fine sometimes not . help

Which engine?

Why did you replace those items? Did you do any testing and found they were faulty?

Any trouble codes stored in the engine computer? If so, what are the numbers?

4cylinder and dunno about codes I'm afraid to take it any where and get stranded money is a big issue so trying fix it myself

That would be a good start. If there are code(s) stored that might give you some direction if the code(s) are related to your symptoms.

Just giving you heads up, but intermittent drive-ability systems can be extremely difficult to figure out without test equipment and vehicle service information.

Also when its acting up It acts like its getting smothered out when I push accelerator and cuts off. It starts right back up and cuts off after a couple seconds. Any ideas???
