I have a 1991 Olsmobile Cutlass Supreme 3.4 with unknown km (fault display). When cold the engine runs fine but after a few km it starts to miss and the service engine light comes on. Its fault code for low TPS voltage. I disconnected the TPS and measured its output without engine running. Voltage was fine throughout range slowly pressing the accelerator. Once when problem was happening and engine warm and idling I measured voltage accross from TPS blue signal wire to ground with pin through blue wire and engine running. Voltage dropped from 0.7V when engine was missing. So one test indicated good TPS and the other a bad TPS but I have heard that GM TPS is reliable. What would be best next thing to test here?
