I have a '93 Nissan 240SX SE and it won't start. It died all of a sudden after getting gas one day and hasn't started since then. I changed sparkplugs new plug wires and new fuel filter and it still won't catch when I try to start it? I was thinking it might be bad gas that I may have got! What do you suggest?

If this happened real fast after getting gas that's a strong clue. Does it get fuel to the intake now? See if it will react to starting fluid and at least sputter for you for further diagnosing of this,

I have took a glass of good gas and hooked it up to the new fuel filter and it wanted to start but it still seems like its chocking. I had one guy tell me that it could be the fuel pump. All the people I talk to about this are stumped as I am. I had another friend say it could be a hole in a vacuem hose. Any clues on where to start?

How did you hook up a glass of gas to the fuel filter and get pressurized fuel to the engine??

Vacuum leak?? Sure they cause problems but I doubt all but the most severe vacuum leak would prevent it from starting.

Have you looked at the fuel from the inlet side of the fuel filter? It could show that it's bad gas with dirt, water or something. Keep in mind that when you open the fuel system it won't like to start right up the first try as it gets some air in the lines,
