I HAVE A 93 PONT BONNA IT DOESNT WANT TO START, ITS A 3.8 V6. BATTERY IS GOOD. INSTRUMENTS COME ON OK. BUT WHEN I TRY TO START IT IT DOESNT DO ANYTHING. I HIT THE STARTER WITH A HAMMER TO SEE IF IT WOULD DO SOMETHING. I DISCONECTED THE PLUG WIRES AND INSERTED A SCREW DRIVER AND TOUCH BARE METAL TO SEE IF IT SPARK BUT IT DIDNT DO ANYTHING. ANY SUGESTIONS/IDEAS

I'm a little confused about your spark plug comment. This car is not cranking or doing anything, right? Is there a security light on or flashing when this happens? Have you tried starting it in Neutral instead of Park? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

NO, THERE IS NOT A FLASHING OR SECURITY LIGHT, I JUST WENT OUTSIDE TO TRY ON N AND DID NOT DO ANYTHING. ABOUT THE SPARKPLUG COMMENT, WHAT I DID DICONECTED THE NUMBER ONE SPARKPLUG WIRE AND INSERTED A SCREW DRIVER AND WHILE MY SON TURN THE KEY I RUBED THE SCREW DRIVER TO A METAL SECTION OF THE MOUNTING BRACKET. I WANTED TO SEE IF IT SPARK AT ALL. UNFORTUNATELY, I DIDNT.

You couldn't possibly have spark if the engine isn't cranking. Someone is going to have to follow a wiring diagram and troubleshoot the circuit. Unfortunately, I don't think you are going to be able to do that.
