RE: my 1994 Geo Prizm starting problem. Turn the key and the car always cranks strong. Normally, the car starts easily. Once started, it runs perfectly. The problem? About 15% of the time, turn the key, it cranks but won't start. Because of the manual transmission, a short push and a pop of the clutch and I am on my way without any engine performance problems. The car is always parked with the perspective that it may need to be push started the next time. This is getting old. Where's the weak link in the chain? The ignition module? Thanks for the input.

You could have a weak coil or intermittent fuel pressure issue. It would have to be tested during the failure to determine that.

I appreciate the reply. Regarding the two possible items that you mentioned, would they not cause some intermittent problems with the performance of the engine once started? Thanks.
