1996
Dodge
Neon
4 cyl

I was changing my little sisters spark plugs! Noticed alot of Oil on her plugs, way more then usual (I think usual.....means no oil at all lol) but none the less there ya go!

The chambers where her plugs go in, is it possible there is a gasket somewhere near or on this part? I cant think of any other reason oil would be in here, unless someone poored it in....in which case.....stupid as hell!

My fam seems to be having alot of car issues this month lol

That's just a leaking valve cover gasket. It also seals the spark plug tubes.

To add to HT; Probably should replace the plug wires if they've been in contact with that oil.

True, I'll agree with that.

Now do you guys know where I would find like....a step by step on how to run this?

I am not much under the hood, I am a fast learner but would like to have a step by step so I dont ruin her car lol

I can do the cables, done them on my own car so I mean the actual seals, how to, been looking thru google cnt seem to find it yet.

This is too basic a job for any instructions to be printed.

greg; Need to know which engine this is. SOHC or DOHC. If you don't know, give me the eighth digit of the VIN number. This really is such a basic job that my Mitchell information just says "Remove valve cover".
