Will a 1996 Grand Am GT 2.4L motor fit into my 1999 cavalier Z24? if so, am i going to have to swap sensors, or anything else? i must know. also, whats the EASIEST way to pull a 2.4L? me and my cousin pulled the 2.4L out of the 96 Grand Am a couple days ago and there was almost NO room to seperate the tranny from the motor. Are you suppose to drop the Cradle or something? I appreciate the help.

The salvage yards have the interchange books and they are the ones to ask about comparability.
As far as removing the engine, cars with an automatic trans are supposed to come out the top and cars with a manual trans are lowered through the bottom.
