Hello all, I have a 1999 GMC Yukon with 132,000 miles on a 5.7 (350) engine. Just recently it started making a tapping noise on start-up. Once warmed up the noise goes away. But I have noticed my oil pressure is running a little lower than normal (under 40). I am having a hard time figuring out if it is crank or lifter noise. Any info would be great. I know I haven't given everything you need so if you need more info ask and I will answer the best I can.

In that the noise goes away when warm this seem to me like sticking lifters. You need to know oil pressure will read lower at idle when warmed up but should kick up with a slight rev even warm. How low of oil pressure can it go and what type of oil used and history of proper oil changing? T
