I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix and it runs hot. My brother and I have been working on it for a while. I did a lot of research, but most of what I found says it is a manifold problem. Though, my brother, who is an automotive genius, says that the manifold is fine. Any ideas on what it could be and how to fix whatever the problem turns out to be? Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

You need to pressure test the cooling system to determine where the coolant is going. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
