1999 GMC Suburban, 3/4 ton, 4x4 7.4 (454) 137,000 Intermittent starting problem since 110,000 miles, about 1.5 years ago. Hard to start after warm engine has been shut off for 10 minutes and longer. If engine is completely cold, will generally start ok, although not always. If warm engine has been off less than 10 minutes will generally start ok. After engine starts it idles & runs good. It has had no recent trouble codes show up. About 1 year ago a code for running rich showed up & the fuel pressure regulator was replaced. Did not fix. Have had to several repair shops. No visible fuel leaks. On 02/20/10, a repair shop did fuel pressure test & stated pressure fell after a few minutes. Replaced fuel pump and did not fix. In the past 1 year, the fuel pump had already been replaced twice; fuel pressure regulator replaced once; fuel filter several times. Not fixed. A check of fuel injectors showed to be firing. Unknown if leak test was done on injectors. Unknown if electrical system was checked. Had a tune-up about 1 year ago (plugs & wires, distributor cap & rotor, pcv, air filter).

You are probably going to want to double check those injectors. Between the hard warm starts & P0172, P0175 codes, sounds like you have some leaky injectors.............
