HELLO MY 2000 CORSA 1.2 16V 95,000MILES HAS AN ENGINE MANAGMENT LIGHT THAT COMES ON BOTH WHEN AT THE TOP AND LOW END OF THE GEARS, AND ALSO WHEN GOING UPHILL! I DONT WANT TO PAY THE 70QUID TO GET IT PLUGGED INTO AN OBD, BUT DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO! HELP!

There isn't anything else to do. Until someone reads the codes, your not going to know what the problem is.

I can't say for your side of the pond but on this side there are some parts stores and shops that will pull the codes for free. Checking them out obviously would cost something but call around, maybe you'll find a place that will pull them for you for free and you can post them here for some feedback on them.......

I had a new 91 tracer. engine light came on at 10000 miles. I put my business card over it and put 230000 miles on car til deerzilla jumped out in front of me. car is dead now.
