2000 Ford Windstar LX 120+ K Miles For some reason, for a while while I take turns left and right the steering makes this weired noise. Its like you can here a motor turning the wheels, its not silent. It has power steering in it, but for some reason it makes this noise and its quite annoying, is there rust that could make this noise? It turns smooth but it makes that noise.

Hard to tell without hearing the noise for myself. With the engine running, take the cap off of the power steering reservoir. If it is full, and has lots of bubbles in it, there is either air in the system or the pump is cavitating. Try to bleed the air out by turning the steering wheel lock to lock and holding it for a few seconds. If this doesn't work, replace the power steering pump. Steve
