2000 Jeep Cherokee Sign In

I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee with a V6. I have developed an oil leaks that appears to be where the engine oil filter housing mounts to the engine block. Is there a seal/gasket/o'ring in that vicinity? It looks like a large torx bolt secures the housing but can't tell with the rust build up. It sn't the oil filter because I wiped clean with brake clean. You can see the oil start seeping out and run down the filter. HAs anyone run into this? has 140000 miles.

Most of them use a flat round gasket under there. Just contact the dealer and they will have what you need.
