I have a 2000 chevy S-10 pick up, 2 wheel drive, 2.2L motor and standard transmition. What i thought was the fuel pump failing back in march, I remember that day, cause i was just settling up with my moving crew in portland maine and when i took off from a red light, it stumbled a little, then i came to another stupid traffic light and the truck stalled. I tried starting the truck until the battery went dead. My dad had AAA tow it to my home. While it sat in my driveway, some jerk ran into the back corner of the truck on the driver side. I then replaced the fuel pump and filter, and the truck ran but real sluggish with the check engien light on the whole time. I drove the truck From maine to Yarmouth Massachusetts twice, the sluggishness and dimming of the headlights. I washed the truck a couple nights after at the hands on car wash, and the lights got real dim, so i jumped in the cab and stepped on the gas, and it popped out of it. Then 2 days later the truck would just stumble when you tried to start it. Then soon after would not stumble at all and just turned over. I replaced the fuel pump again thinking i got a bunk pump, still nothing. I even tried pouring gas into the throttle body and not even a stumble. I then got smart and bought a code reader, The code reader doesnt even come on when pluged into the OBD system, like there's no power at all. What is going on with this truck, The code reader works cause i plugged it into our other vehicles. Can someone please help me!!!! Sincerly, Jay Rossi Naples, maine

Check all your fuses ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
