Check engine light on? If so, what is the code number(s)? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

It should be on running like that. Does the bulb even work. It should light in either KOEO or when cranking just to check the bulb. Not sure on this one but some vehicles get very unhappy with those blown or removed, T

Could be a problem with the idle air control system. Try cleaning the throttle body bore, clean the idle air control motor pintle, and clean the pintle bore, so it is free of carbon. Use a rag/toothbrush and some carb or throttle body cleaner. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
