Hello!
I’m having issues with my truck. Sometimes it runs very smooth, but today it ran very rough. The entire truck was shaking, and the engine light was on. My mom was on her way to get my battery tested when it started running very rough. Here are the trouble codes I got:
P0012 - A Camshaft Position Timing Over - Retarded Bank 1
P0352 - Ignition Coil B Primary/Secondary Circuit
P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0301 - Cylinder 1 Misfire
P2196 - O2 Sensor Signal Biased/Stuck Rich B1S1

The technician said that since my battery went dead over 2 days of sitting that it could be an alternator since the voltage was reading low when running rough.

Here’s what I’ve replaced so far (it’s really only had a tune-up, these things were replaced before this issue):
Spark Plugs
Ignition Coil #5
Throttle Position Sensor

The anti-theft system also stopped me from starting the truck today as it apparently didn’t recognize the key EVEN after I got a new key cut and programmed at a locksmith.

Help?

I haven’t started throwing parts at it yet to fix the issue.

Oh, and the AC randomly stopped working today while it was having the issue, and then when the engine ran well it started working.

I have made a couple of posts on this same truck, but for an idling issue. The idling issue finally settled out without me doing anything. LOL. This issue just started yesterday. For more background, it has an issue where the dome lights will randomly turn on at any point and will usually turn off within a minute, only when the truck is running. I also left my truck in my driveway for 2 days and came back to the battery completely dead.

Just lights first: Is or was it parked level? Do doors close easily or have worn hinges and drop OR and move them in more when closed fully? If so the door doesn't know it's closed is a chance then a dead battery you lose memory of other controls.
Now just that: When it ran well for a good while it was learning just what to hold idle at given certain conditions (more too) and re-learned it no doubt. That would explain both issues being related not the whole problem with the truck,

It was not parked. It always happens when driving. It doesn’t give me any notice that the door is open. I have tried opening and closing the door but the lights still will not shut off. Oh and I forgot to note that the battery is dated 10/19. And the doors do close easily, do not have to mess with them to get them to close properly. Athens hinges are fine, they do not drop when closing the door. The light problem started back when I got the truck, long before this issue started. The light problem only occurs when the truck is running and driving, never happens when it is turned off.

Move on: It was just a reason for a draw that IS NOT a fault. That and in vehicles - glove boxes, storage, trunks a light isn't out, throw in hoods, trunks, hatches and the dang reading lights for high passenger things. Super common and ruins batteries (when/if just jumped and take off) then on to wreck more usually alternators.
I don't think that's you total problem but worth attention for all so move on, Tom

I don't get it. What was the TPS replaced for? You had nothing pointing to that.

You have codes for cylinders 1 and 2 but you replaced coil number 5. What's up with that?
